Hey hey hey friends!! Because you are considering spending eight hours of your life with me (and maybe more if you like me a lot haha), you probably should know some things about me so you know what you are getting yourself into! First off, I am 27 years old and I’ve been married to my college sweetheart Joey for five years. It was definitely not love at first sight but that’s a longgggg story, feel free to ask me when we’re hanging! However you should know, my first love is Jesus. I pray and hope that every ounce of my business shows how amazing He is and how loved you are by Him. Without Him, none of this would even be remotely possible and I owe Him every success.

Some super fun + random things about me I think you should know:

  • I love true crime drama and documentaries, but also it is probably why I’m paranoid and convinced I’ll be kidnapped walking to my car

  • Food is my love language—I am better at eating it than I am cooking it

  • I could do the Cha Cha Slide or the Cupid Shuffle in my sleep at this point

  • I have an unhealthy obsession with reading (specifically romance + fantasy), and managed to read 115 books in 2024! So send me some of your fav book recs<3

Photography has always been something I loved because of how it makes people feel—beautiful, seen, nostalgic, and moved. My philosophy with photography is to tell your story and to notice the small details that you might otherwise miss in the hurry of the moment. But I am also there to help you have fun and to breathe-in your day! When you hire me, I am no longer just your photographer but I am your bonus bridesmaid, professional dress-floofer, personal paparazzi, dancing queen, and hype girl. I want to become so much more than a vendor because you ultimately deserve someone who will go above and beyond expectation. I wholeheartedly believe in creating lasting relationships and trust with my couples because it leads to more authenticity on wedding days. I want you to know that I genuinely care and will do anything I can to point you back to the joy you feel.

Some popular buzzwords going around in the wedding photographer community these past two years have been “Documentary” and “Candid.”

I lean more towards relying on capturing candid moments throughout your day, because I still find that couples want some direction, but I also want the space to exist where you can interact and react. Your wedding should not be a photoshoot, the next feature in the local magazine, or for growing my portfolio. Your wedding day, and therefore your wedding photos, should be about you and your people—the ones who have made you who you are, and who have championed you through every season. Your entire wedding gallery should feel LIVED IN. I aim to capture the mess, the tears, the imperfect shot. Simply, I aim to capture you, and that means without intervention or tidying up.

Between these hours are when I will be able to reply to emails. However, on weekends with weddings and evenings with sessions, hours may vary. Expect two to three days before attempting to reach out again. I promise I love responding to each and every one of you, and I take my time in attempting to get to know you!
